HOTPOT CITY 8MILES

HOTPOT is very popular in Myanmar. Especially People love HOTPOT Buffet restaurant. HOTPOT CITY is one of best hotpot buffet restaurant in Yangon. They have 2 branches in Yangon. One is in 8 miles and another in Alone township.  I visited Hotpot city 8 miles.

HOTPOT CITY 8MILES

There were spacious parking places and staffs helped for car parking.

The restaurant was very clean and well decorated. There were full of guests and a little complicated.

hotpot city table

I really like this individual induction cooker. Because It’s able to eat what you like without mixing foods with others. And even if you come to the restaurant alone, you can eat hot pots. I can control the electronic induction cooker and it worked well.

hotpot city sauce

The restaurant had two sauce stations. You can make your own sauce according to your taste, and there were some sauces already made.

hotpot city menu and food ingredients

As shown in the photo, it is normally 12,800 kyats. Including tax is about 15,000 kyats per person. You can eat for 1 hour 30 minutes and the price will vary for each promotion.

From vegetables to meats there were so many food ingredients. There were sea food like prawn, crab, seashell and squid too.
Not only hotpot foods, you can also enjoy many dishes such as fries, rice, bread, drinks ,ice cream and fruit.

HOTPOT CITY TASTE

You can choose 3 kinds of soup. There are sweet(normal), spicy and hot & sour soups. I chose sweet soup. All of ingredients were fresh. Specially I liked prawns and  crabs. But beef was chewy. The premade sauce was delicious and most of the food was good.

CONCLUSION

I was satisfired at this restaurant. Although there was limited time, it was enough time for me. Foods were fresh and delicious. All of staffs were kind and helpful. Most of guests were family, but it was good to be able to enjoy the hot pot alone.
The price is reasonable compared to the quality of the food. I am willing to visit again.
