SHAN KITCHEN
Shan kitchen is one of famous Shan traditional food restaurant in Yangon. It is located in Yangon downtown. Near the restaurant there are many other restaurants, hotels, pubs and massage shops.
The restaurant has 2 stories and cool atmosphere.
It was decorated with Myanmar traditional decoration. And there were full of guests in the restaurant. I think most of guests were foreigners.
The staffs were helpful and polite when I asked about Shan foods.
SHAN KITCHEN MENU
There were various Shan food. The price was very reasonable and It was easy to order because there were pictures on the menu.
I ordered warm tofu noodle, fried tofu and lime juice.
SHAN KITCHEN WARM TOFU NOODLE AND TOFU FRIED
I have eaten other shan noodles before, but this was for the first time to eat the tofu noodles. It was an amazing taste. The tofu taste and sticky noodles were really good. You can choose pork meat or chicken meat. It was very savory and the texture of noodles was fun. It seems to be my favorite shan noodle.
Fried tofu is one of the typical Shan foods. The outside is crispy and the inside is soft. Just fried tofu is really delicious when eaten with sauce. It is a highly recommended menu in Shan foods.
CONCLUSION
I understand why Shan Kitchen Restaurant is so popular. The food was also clean and really delicious. I would like to try all dishes provided here. The price was also affordable and foods were served quickly. The stafs were very friendly. If you are looking for a Shan food restaurant near Yangon downtown, I would recommend this restaurant.
