Oishii sushi restaurant is one of famous Japanese restaurant in Yangon. They have 4 shops in Yangon. I visited the shop near 15th street Yangon downtown.
The restaurant was decorated by Japanese style. The chefs were making sushi in front of customer at the sushi bar. Customer can see how to make sushi. The table had Japanese soy sauce and small dishes.

There were so many kinds of sushi and various Japanese dishes. It was difficult to order for me because of many dishes. So I ordered the Gyoza(fried dumpling) and Salmon family Don set.

First they provided cold green tea and ginger pickles.
The ginger pickles help to refresh your mouth.
The salmon don was delicious. It was fresh and specially salmon eggs were so nice. There was rice under salmon and a little sour and sweet. I put a bit wasabi soy sauce and ate with salmon and salmon eggs. It was taste of heaven.
The miso soup had some soft tobu and seaweed. It was good.
The salad was fresh and nice.
conclusion
If you like sushi and Japanese food, you should visit this shop. In fact it is not like the taste of authentic Japanese. But if this quality, it maybe help your thirsty for Japanese foods.
