DO YOU KNOW BIBIMBAP?
Bibimbap is a Korean traditional food.Bibim means mixing and Bap means rice. It is made of vegetables, meat, rice, gochujang(red pepper paste sauce) in large bowl.
This food is well known for its fresh and healthy.
I would like to introduce a Korea restaurant in Yangon.

K-BIBIMBAP Restaurant specializes in bibimbap. There are other Korean snacks too.
I ate the bibimbap in MYANMAR PLAZA branch. The shop was hygienic and staffs were friendly.
menu
There are many kinds of bibimbap. Most of bibimbap are served with dolsot in this restaurant. Dolsot means hot stone bowl. It keeps warm temperature and rice is more crunch in dolsot. I chose a tuna dolsot bibimbap.

The bibimbap came out with side dish and soup.
In Korea, most restaurants offer side dishes for free.
This restaurant is same too.
Side dishes were served with kimchi, peanuts and fruit. The soup was seaweed soup. Kimchi had a lot of sourness and the peanuts were crumbly. The soup was delicious.
Tuna dolsot bibimbap was consisted of tuna, rice, lettuce, zucchini, carrot, kimchi and mushroom.
There were a lot of tuna in a bowl but unfortunately there was no fried egg.
I added a spoon of gochujang(red pepper paste) and slowly mixed the bibimbap with a spoon. Some people mix with chopsticks.
The rice was more crispy because of the stone bowl. The rice, vegetables, kimchi, tuna and sauce were mixed well and it was delicious. However, the sour taste of kimchi was so strong that I could not feel the taste of other vegetables.
conclusion
The food was not bad. But the kimchi in the bibimbap was so sour that I didn’t eat the kimchi which was side dish. Total price was 7,500 kyats including water. It’s a bit expensive for a meal in Myanmar, but if you want to eat Korean food, especially bibimbap, you can try it.
