BEST TEA HOUSE IN YANGON
RANGOON TEA HOUSE is one of best tea house in Yangon. It is located in Pansodan street,Yangon downtown. Famous for local people and foreigners.
The interior was well decorated in a modern retro style. Even though lunch time was a bit past there was full of guests. The tea house is well-organized and near the counter you can buy souvenirs like Myanmar coffee, coffee cups and trays.
RANGOON TEA HOUSE MENU
Like other local tea houses, RANGOON TEA HOUSE sells traditional Myanmar food, snacks and drinks. Myanmar teas, in particular, are shown in pictures so that foreigners can easily order them. You can order a tea according to your preference. I ordered Myanmar traditional food, Mohinga set and Myanmar tea POTE MANN.
MOHINGA AND MYANMAR TEA IN RANGOON TEA HOUSE
Unlike other normal tea shops, Rangoon Tea House sells cold tea. The hot tea was delicious, but the cold tea could taste a new taste. The tea was very milky and sweet.
The mohinga at Rangoon Tea House was a fantastic taste. First, mix noodles, vegetables, and fried corn, fish cake with Mohinga soup. There was a boiled duck egg in the mohinga soup. The soup was really thick and there were really more fish compared to the other moghinga. The fried corn and soup together were really delicious. It was the best taste of mohinga I’ve ever had in Yangon.
CONCLUSION
Everything was good in Rangoon Tea House. Mohinga was especially delicious. I want to try all the other menus. Now I know why this house is famous. The price is expensive compared to other shops, but definitely worth a try. Must visit Rangoon Tea House when you are in Yangon.
